Annual Old Town Temecula Bluegrass Festival
The finest Bluegrass Festival on the West Coast features 14 bands, three stages, a fiddle competition and special evening concert. Concert hours are 11-6 Saturday, 115 Sunday. All concerts are free. Workshops and jam sessions are offered both days. Pickers are welcome.

RV dry camping is $30 for the weekend. Additional camping at Pechanga Resort & Casino (dry in parking lot) $30. Bring your chairs.

Dickens of a Christmas
Weekends, November 28 (Friday Santa Arrival) thru December 21. Includes Dickens Carolers, Santa every Saturday and Sunday, Community Music Day with strolling carolers and local youth bands, and Santa's big Arrival Thanksgiving Weekend … Santa's Arrival is Friday Night, November 28 at 6 p.m.

Erle Stanley Gardner Mystery Weekend
November 7&8
Super Sleuths, Mystery Writers, and Perry Mason Fans wanted for this fun filled weekend. Erle Stanley Gardner's Perry Mason Mysteries are recreated on the streets of Old Town Temecula as the town celebrates Temecula's most infamous resident.

A Saturday evening of cowboy poetry and western music titled "Around Uncle Erle's Campfire" features Cowboy Poets, Western and Honky Tonk Musicians. The Mystery Writing Contest offers prizes to amateur writers from middle school students to adults.

Farmer's Market
Enjoy locally grown produce hand crafted items, and specialty food items at the Temecula Old Town Farmer's Market.

Be sure to visit Old Town's boutiques and restaurants as you spend time enjoying a location where time slows down.

Hot Summer Nights
July 11-August 29
Every Friday night of summer offers a variety of live bands, entertainment and games for the kids to play.

Activities start at 6 p.m. July 11 with Temecula's International Jazz Festival and continue through August 29 with two to three bands per evening.

There are kids games, activities and plenty of evening fun. Events are free. Bands in the past have included Aunt Kizzy'z Boyz, Nitro Express, Sligo Rags, Older Than Dirt, Bayou Brothers, Steel the Band (steel band) and Judy Taylor.

Temecula Outdoor Quilt Show
October 4
This is their 10th annual event with special guest Quilters, a quilt walk and more.

Join the Valley of the Mist Quilters Guild as hundreds of quilts and thousands of yards of fabric turn the town into a colorful patchwork quilt.

There are opportunity drawings, quilt auctions for charity and featured Quilters.

Temecula Rod Run
Join us bi-annually for the Temecula Rod Run. Step back into time as the classic cars we know and love grace the streets of Old Town. People of all ages will enjoy the music, the food, and the fun.

Street Painting Festival
JUNE 28 & 29
Hundreds of murals with more than 75 fine artists creating giant works of art on the asphalt canvas of Main Street in Old Town Temecula. This is performance art in a large-scale way as fine artists spend two solid days creating masterpieces, originals and reproductions of the grand masters. Most murals are 100 square feet or larger.

Live world music provides a creative soundtrack for artists and viewers. Bands include Latin Jazz from Javid, and Menifee Campus Jazz Ensemble. Sunday Andean Pan Flute tunes from Duchicelas.

Families and amateurs are encouraged to participate in the family section where pastel chalk, supplies and space are provided. Ralph Love Plein Air Festival held in conjunction with event on June 27 and 28.

Western Days
MAY 17 & 18
Join the cast from the Temecula Gunfighters, numerous visiting gun fighting clubs, and other Old West costumed characters as they perform humorous skits and the high noon shoot out and robbery at The Bank.

The weekend events include old west exhibits, western music, Native American exhibits, a Chili Cook Off on Sunday, and calf roping demonstrations. Hours are 11-5 both days. For information call (951) 694-6412

JUNE 28 & 29
